4th of July Craft

Earlier I was talking about doing some finger painting flag craft, well here it is! I kind of made it up as I went, and Landon had fun making it.

Materials:

White and blue construction paper
Red and white paint
Masking tape (painters tape)
Q-tip
Scissors
First I took a large sheet of construction paper and used masking tape to cover the spots where the white stripes will be
Then gave Landon some red paint and let him go to town!

Then I carefully peeled the masking tape off of the white paper
I traced a rectangle on blue paper and had Landon cut it out
We glued it on and I gave him a q-tip and white paint to make the stars. We started counting but when we  got to about 30 he lost interest and just went crazy with “booping” the paint on.
All done!

  1. What a fabulous craft! My littlest one (and even older two) would love it! Cute, cute!

    1. Thanks! It is definitely something that an older child could enjoy as well!
