This morning we had some fun with moon sand. If you’ve never made moon sand you’re missing out on hours of fun. It’s super easy and cheap to make and lasts for quite some time in a zip lock bag. It’s like sand when you run your fingers through it, but it forms like play dough when you compress it.
Moon Sand:
8 parts flour
1 part baby oil
I used 8 cups of flour and 1 cup of oil and it filled a large tub nicely and was plenty enough to play with. I also added sprinkles to mine after a few time of using it to change things up.
This is the “mom… another picture” look. Usually he won’t look at or smile for the camera without some kind of bribery.
