This is a super simple fall craft. If you lived near a tree with acorns you could use the acorn tops in place of the bird seed!

Acorn pieces (cut from brown construction paper)

Cut the shapes for the top and bottom part of the acorn separately. You can print a template off the internet or just free-hand it (which is what I did). Have your child glue the top and bottom together. Then spread glue along the top of the acorn and sprinkle bird seed to cover it. Add ric rac strips on the bottom.
