You might remember how Landon was afraid of the water? It wasn’t until about 2 months ago that we actually got him to get into the water. Before that he was just too afraid. We also now have a gym membership so we are able to go swim in their heated pools really regularly.
We decided to go ahead and put Landon in swimming lessons to help him …well learn how to swim. His first day was Thursday, last week. He had fun but was very hesitant – not really of the water, but of the whole class setting. They have them wear goggles and flippers, and though landon wore them because the teacher was putting them on, I could tell he wasn’t quite sure what to think about it.
He had fun though, which is what matters. They sang songs and practiced swimming with the floaty and practiced getting water in their faces while holding their breath.
Oh. And there was another Landon in his class. Must have added to the confusion some.
