Today we started working on an ABC book that I created for my classroom way back. I think it’s funny that he’s working on the things I work with my kinders on at the beginning of the year. There’s a part of me that really don’t want him to work on any more Pre-K stuff in the sense that I’m really afraid that he’s going to go into kindergarten and be VERY bored. Then comes the thoughts of homeschooling… then they leave quickly 🙂

It’s a very easy color, cut and paste book that I made. I have others that are very similar for colors and numbers that I’m sure we’ll get to working on (and sharing) in the near future. Even if your child doesn’t know their letter names (Landon doesn’t know a ton of them) it’s a great activity to talk about them and expose them to letters. It’s activities like this that are fun and engaging that allow you to talk  about the letter names as they work.

Coloring the letters:

Cutting the letters (yes we do projects in our jammies with no pants… it’s the way we roll!):

Gluing them in order:

You want this? I thought you would! Here it is 🙂
