After talking with Landon about how dinosaurs are extinct and reading several stories from the library about how scientists learn about the dinosaurs since they can’t see them, I wanted to not only do some “scientific” projects about fossils but an art project as well. Again, pinterest is my friend.

Dinosaur Skeleton Craft

Pasta (preferably something that’s long and skinny-ish)
Glue
Dinosaur Skeleton Craft print out (you can’t laugh if you download it!)
Coffee Grounds

Print the skeleton outline on heavy cardstock paper (or just draw your own). Glue the pasta on the lines. Once it’s had a little time to set (so they don’t fall off during the next step) cover the rest of the area with glue, being careful to not get the glue on top of the pasta. You can use watered down glue and a paint brush.

Cover the area with the coffee grounds and let it set for a few minutes before you dump off the excess.
